What is Voices Beyond Borders ?

Voices Beyond Borders is a open mic collaboration is the coming together of voices from different continents, its a young women with a dream thriving to make it happen with the time allotted to her, its the woman working carrying more than anyone can see but manages to make herself available at 6:00pm whenever she is needed after working all day, its the young man who came from a young bahamian girl who came from a family of immigrants that decided to venture here, its those dreams coming into fruition and walking in the foot steps our ancestors fought for use to walk in for us to be here choosing for use to reclaim our voice and for use to know there is no limit to what our voice can do when we decide to use and for that reason is it so important to be authentic to who we are. 

Voices beyond borders is about community, identity, collective power, and showing what happens when you believe in yourself. We plan to do this through ……
